Spanstead LLC builds Spanstead Works, a field service operations platform for US service businesses and contractors. It keeps a job on a single record from first enquiry through to payment — estimates, scheduling and dispatch, the crew's own mobile app, inventory and equipment, fleet, HR, invoicing and payments — so the margin on a job is visible against the money actually received rather than the invoices raised. The crew app and customer documents run in English or Spanish throughout, not only at the login screen. Spanstead LLC is a Kansas company based in Leawood.

Odis Barnett is a software engineer who has worked in field service from both sides — as an employee, and as the owner of a lawn care company. Spanstead Works is built out of that experience rather than from a market study.
